Facts about HIV/AIDS
People believe that HIV/AIDS can be transmitted through physical contact such as sharing a glass, hugging, handshake, using the same towel.
However, you can get the disease from having unprotected sex, sharing needles or sharp objects , or getting a tattoo from unsterilized equipment.
Body fluids including semen (cum), blood, pre-seminal fluid (pre-cum) , rectal fluids, breast milk and vaginal secretions can very much contain HIV. If a person has HIV and a detectable viral load, HIV can passed on to someone if their semen or vaginal secretions gets into the body of a their sex partner during vaginal or anal sex.
Ways to prevent HIV/AIDS
Avoid having unprotected sex with a carrier of this disease as condoms are less effective at preventing STDs that can be transmitted through sores or cuts on the skin, like human papillomavirus, genital herpes, and syphilis.
Avoid engaging in sex when drunk as you are likely not to think straight about it and have unprotected sex.
